Why are Imports so expensive?

Import vinyl tends to be priced higher than domestic releases due to several factors associated with international shipping and production costs. When vinyl records are imported from another country, additional expenses such as shipping fees, customs duties, and tariffs can significantly increase their overall price. These factors contribute to the higher retail price, reflecting the cost of transporting and handling the products.

Despite the increased price point, it's important to note that we maintain the same profit margin on imported vinyl as we do on all other releases. This consistency in profit margin allows us to sustain our business model while offering a diverse selection of products to our customers. We believe that the unique qualities and sometimes limited availability of import vinyl justify their higher price, providing our customers with access to exclusive titles and enhanced audio experiences.
